History
DESCLEAN or DC (a B was added later on to distinguish the Belgian company from
its foreign subsidiaries) was founded on March 18 1986 by the families Boodts
and Williame. The company was originally a cooperative company (CV), later on a
limited liability company (BVBA and NV). Even if DC moved into different places
during its lifetime it always remained in Wilrijk, a suburb of Antwerp. In
1991, the office in Lille (F) was opened. In 1995 DESCLEAN ROMANIA SRLA was
established in Constanţa (Romania). DCR is a 100% DCB subsidiary. In
December 2003 DESCLEAN UKRAINE started its activities in Kiev. DESALP is under
registration for the Ukrainian market. During all these years DCB has built a
vast network of relations all over the world. At the time being, DCB has
bilateral agreements with local companies in the UK, Turkey, Algeria and Egypt.
